3D printing system is capable of operating at speeds faster than 25-100 times faster than conventional 3D printers.
3D Carbon Company in California, USA, application technology manufacturing continuous liquid surface (CLIP). The system used in laser and oxygen to influence the process of hardening photosensitive resin material, so that will appear in print in three dimensions simultaneously.
The current 3D printers use laser or injection parts to make hard plastic material, in slowly and create layers until completion. Meanwhile in CLIP, objects will appear from the tray without elastic material in each class.
By IB Times, CLIP items in about 6.5 minutes, while other common products finished in three hours or even 11.5 hours. Parts are printed with a smooth surface on the outside and inside the solid. Besides, CLIP can produce more products, from sneakers to machinery.
"3D printing technology currently can not guarantee revolutionized manufacturing operations. Our CLIP technology offers revolutionary speed, suitable mechanical properties and materials depending on the requirements of the complex parts, "Joseph DeSimone, 3D Carbon founder, said.
