"On This Day" allows users to review the content posted at the time of one or a few years ago.
Facebook has officially introduced a new feature called "On This Day", lets see the pictures or old posts in the past, in time one, two or more years ago. This feature is actually not entirely new. The first time it was tested was in 2013. Two years later, On This Day was released officially. This feature is similar to Timehop - a service that allows users to sign up with a series of social networking accounts (including Facebook) to receive notifications each day about what you have posted on social networks in the past.
Starting 24/3, access Facebook on mobile or web interface, users can optionally On This Day page
In it, users can view, share specific post with friends. Users can also sign up to receive notifications each day like Timehop. In On This Day debut, Facebook has taken specific measures to avoid recalling traumatic past of users. For example, this feature will avoid opening the post related to the deceased or the person you have to change the relationship status on Facebook and individuals. Previously, Facebook had met trouble with features Year In Review. This feature encountered much criticism, that it evokes memories of many people grief when trying to collect the post most notable of them, including information relating to the deceased or the breakup of the couple.
